How did Hip2Save start?
After years of struggling with bulimia, grappling with depression, and realizing I was in over $40,000 of credit card debt, I was determined to create a better life for myself and my young family. After hitting my own rock bottom, I made the decision to go to rehab. It took me years to be able to admit my struggles publicly, but since then, I have realized just how much my story has helped others.
Once I was on a better journey for myself, I discovered couponing which was something that really clicked for me and I quickly realized how much it was helping me personally and how drastically it was improving my family’s financial situation. With the encouragement from my family, I started sharing my passion through my newfound savings and confidence, and in 2008 Hip2Save was born.
Oh, how time flies! I truly had NO idea Hip2Save would become the nationally recognized website that it is today! These days, I’m a proud wife to my Marine veteran, a mom to our three wonderful kiddos, two furry pups, and I still love scoring an amazing deal. Long story short, coupons saved my life.
